I didn't realize that Ross was hit that hard by Ike, went by today and they seem to have gutted the whole store, I pray we never get a hurricane that Powerful again... I am actually to the point of wanting to relocate to avoid the dangers and inconveniences a hurricane can cause....

RE: Ross
Ike probably made Ross look better. Everytime I went in there it literally looked like a hurricane blew through it.
Talk about a nasty, unkempt store.

RE: Ross
I have to agree with you CS. I love Ross stores at other locations, but the one in Baytown was always just a mess. Seemd like no one ever hung anything back that someones wild kid threw on the floor. And the store was always full of wild children that their parents never took into hand.
I'm sorry if it was damaged, but maybe it will come back better and cleaner. (crossing my fingers)

RE: Ross
Perhaps it will, we can only hope, and as for the children running rampant, that is NO LIE, Management needs to enforce parents to discipline their children while in the store, and if the parent cannot do this they should be asked to leave. On another note, I was in Wal-Mart yesterday, trying to find another cordless phone, and 4-5 children walk up to the right of me almost ripping the model phones off of their display while their Mom stood by and watched, I finally told them these were not toys, their Mom finally called them and gave me a really rude look. I'm sorry, but parents need to teach their children better manners, ripping a store apart is not acceptable! This is why Baytown stores appear the way they do, some of the parents do not teach their children how to act while in public!

You're oh so right Koko. It's a sorry state of affairs when it comes to parents teaching their children to have respect for themselves and others.

RE: Ross
You guys are so right. I was in Wal-Mart right before the hurricane and I was on my side of the aisle. This little boy, he was probaby 9 or 10, rammed his cart right into my leg and it hurt like hell so I hollered OUCH! DAMN! The kid didn't apologize, the mother didn't correct her son and then had the nerve to tell me I should have gotten out of his way. I can't wait until that kid is a teenager. Mom will pay for her bad behavior then. Wish I could be there to see it!
