Raised from the dead?
Last week, the churches in our district, received a prayer request from one of our members. There was a girl in Mexico who ws the victim of a horrible crime and had been run over by a truck. They didn't expect her to live. All of our area churches began praying. I can't remember if it was one or two days later, we got a report that she died. Less than twenty four hours later, we got another report. The girl was in the morgue and she began to move her foot. They discovered she was ALIVE!
Now I'm sure that "G" will find a way to explain it. I however, believe that God brought her back to life as a result of the prayers that were being prayed for her.
"G", here's your proof. God really does exist and He still works miracles.

RE: Raised from the dead?
It perplexes me that you would default to belief before you tried to find a way to explain it. Shouldn't you look for answers before you decide to believe in the supernatural?
I mean, here is a recent examples where god didn't heal a teenager:

So does god heal, or not?

Also, do you have some pictures, or perhaps doctor's reports. This isn't proof, just because it's stated to have happened.

No, I don't have pictures or doctor's reports. But I have a great deal of confidence in the source the report came from. I heard her ask for prayer for the girl, and I know she would not lie.
If I showed you pictures and reports you would probably say they were fake. I doubt you would believe it if you had been there. IMO, you really don't want to believe. Just my opinion.

No, I just want actual proof, not just spoken accounts.
It's not like this is an unreasonable request.

RE: Raised from the dead?
Geremy, I read the story of the boy God didn't heal. I think his parents were very foolish and should be prosecuted. We should seek professional medical help.
I believe God does heal some. I also believe that He gave us doctors for a reason.
There are two wonderful saints of God in our church that are dying. It looks as though it's not His will to heal them. They are okay with that, because they know where they are going. One of our pastors, 27 years old, died about a month ago. All 3 have been under a doctor's care and treated with everything known possible for their illness. We don't know why God chooses to do what He does. We don't question. God never said He would heal everyone. But I think, this was one that He chose to bring back, perhaps to help some who think like you do.

RE: Raised from the dead?
If god is real and the promises of the bible are true, then the faithful should be able to ask for healing and receive it.
Mystery is not an answer. You don't question because you don't want to admit that your god might not be real.
