I agree with Common Sense. Over on hotpursuit.com, they are really raking her over the coals even though she has apologized. Who's to say whether she is sincere or not? I think some people just enjoy concentrating on someone else's mistakes instead of their own. Enough is enough.

My husband (lawyer) thought I should point out here that the people who posted death threats and/or this woman's address need to understand that if something happens to her THEY COULD BE LIABLE and will most likely RECEIVE A VISIT FROM THE POLICE.

I saw where frazz DISHONESTLY depicted the situation here and used my moniker on hotpursuit.com. What a sad and bitter little man he is. I guess since the TRUTH didn't work out in his favor he would try another route. I give the folks at that site credit for not buying into his lie. I'm sure they came over here to see for themselves and since they aren't as mentally deficient as frazz, they could actually comprehend what I wrote.

It just makes me sick that people who are condemning her, threatening her, and saying such horrible things are so sure of their Christianity. Really? Would Jesus think all that is ok?

Instead of bashing her on the internet, taking the time to look up her address, and posting and reposting caches why don't you step away from the computer and go help those who really were affected by Ike? If you were really THAT upset you'd invest your energy into doing something positive....you know, do some actual good instead of beating a dead horse over Steinhauser.

You are correct, I did come into this conversation late because I have been helping people who have been severely affected by this hurricane. I wasn't aware that there was a time limit when to respond or post. I posted because I was speechless when I read about her and her blogs. There are many people who are going out of their way to help their neighbors in need and then there are a few who just think of themselves.

It amazes me how some yell personal attack, get people banned than attack others personally with what seems like permission from the administrator.

Just does not make any sense why some would be given Card Blanche to attack others and others are banned for the same actions.

Just thought I would log on to state my opinion, but I probably wont be back because this does not seem like a site I would want to be a part of with its obvious draconian administration and hypocritical attitudes.

When Frazz first registered here, he got into a heated argument with another member and both resorted to cursing and name calling. They were both banned for 24 hours and then allowed to return. Frazz had not been back since, if I remember correctly. When he did return the other day, he was banned a second time. This time for 48 hours since it was his second offense. After the 48 hours were up, he would have been allowed back. He was banned this time for:

1) Publicly accusing another member of stockpiling MRE's. This was a childish attack which he had no evidence to back him up. Not to mention it can damage one's character.

2) Telling another member they should "rot in hell" simply because they were defending a single aspect of the situation that Frazz did not agree with.

It is one thing to bring an intelligent argument to this forum, it is another to make accusations that damage one's character and to tell them they should "rot in hell" for their opinion. I suppose you would not have a problem with being treated that way?

Right after being banned the second time, Frazz registered again, this time with the name "usuc" (obviously meant to be pronounced "you suck"). He then gave the member he had been arguing with a negative reputation point. Again, childish behavior. I find it disturbing that a member who prides himself on being a good Christian would register with the name "you suck" and then take revenge on another member.

No one is given card blanche here. If anyone feels they have been wronged, they are welcome to report the post. You have no idea how many posts I have deleted since this site launched. And if I find that someone is personally attacking you, they will be banned for 24 hours. The rules apply to everyone, but Frazz is the only one who is repeatedly complained about by multiple members and the only one that resorts to childish pranks so he is the only one who has been banned. Don't you find it odd that in my tyrannical reign I have only banned two members for 24 hours and one one of those for good? Doesn't sound draconian to me.

You aren't the first to call me a hypocrite and I'm sure you won't be the last. If you have a problem with any particular post, and it sounds like you do, you are welcome to report it.

Dorian you're doin a good job here! We just need to learn how to let others have their opinions. stop criticizing others' posts and just worry about keeping things tame and respectful. Watch how your word your posts, text is very easily mistaken to mean something it didn't. We don't want people outside of baytown coming to this board and seeing us argue all the time. learn from the past (baytownsun), lets make this board better than the last! this doesn't go to anyone specific just all posts in general, so please don't attack me. just a little message of peace here. like my name says Just Be Nice!!!
