You are right Just Be Nice

I think she should go on the news and make a public apology for starters.

Then, she should give back all the extras that she has.

Next, she should make restitution for the stuff that she's already used by doing community service, volunteer work, or something to that effect.

I think if she would just come out and admit her guilt, immaturity, and extreme insensitivity that the community would be more likely to forgive her.

If they can catch her doing something illegal I'm sure. Part of the blog (which I thought was worse than the MRE thing) was her talking about filing with FEMA to make up for damages she wasn't paid during Rita. She stated she had minimal damage to her home yet she was bitter about not receiving money during Rita and getting extra money "would really help." If she actually filed a claim to FEMA that's fraud and I think they could fire her for that.

I don't know about you but I don't know how she's going to show her face. I think she should resign immediately because NO learning will go on in that room. It will never be business as usual. Parents will be yanking their students out left and right. She will never be able to legitimately correct bad behavior from students when they know about her very public display of bad behavior.

Sorry, I just read this after I posted the new topic!

Get off Kris B's back. This teacher compromised her own safety! Everyone knows that all you have to do is type in "Harris County Appraisal District" and put in a person's name and their address will pop up! This teacher thought she would outsmart everyone and stock up on MRE's meant for hungry people without power--- AND BRAGGED about it! She outsmarted herself and started blogging in the world of cyberspace!

Hurricane Ike - 10

I talked to Matthew's brother, Jeremy, earlier today and he told me that there was about 3 feet of water in his dad's house. The refrigerator got moved from the kitchen into the living room. He was really concerned about his motorcycle that he apparently left in Bridge City the last time he came down. It was right by the riding lawn mower and that was upside down according to Donna. Matthew's dad brought disposable cameras to the house, but I have not talked to Matthew all day today to find out any information.

I just finished eating my MRE and I still didn't get to finish my meal. It is too much food. Yesterday I ate meatballs with marinara sauce, almonds, wheat bread with cheese sauce, pretzels, and the orange punch. Today's meal was chili mac, applesauce, a pop-tart, wheat bread with cheese sauce, fruit punch, and apple cider. There were also a whole large pack of Skittles that I haven't eaten yet. I think that I am falling in love with MREs. They are pretty darn good. I went around 5:30 to go get more MREs and actually got another box of real MREs, water, and ice. Right now, I have five cases of water, two 20 pound bags of ice, four 10 pound bags of ice, and four boxes of MREs. Two of the boxes of MREs are the real military ones, two are a box per person for the whole day type MRE, and I have a box with twelves kind of sack lunches (chef Boyardee microwave little cup, granola bar, fruit cups, and almond cookies). There are lots of different types of MREs that are given out, but the best ones are the military type MREs. I was excited to get the second real box of MREs. I think that I am crazy, but it is so cool that you put a little bit of water in the bag with the food and in about a minute, there is hot food. This is great. I don't have school and getting free food! I still will probably get paid at the end of the month also. Life is great after a hurricane when nothing really happened to your house!

Please don't tell me to get off anyone's back. You came into this conversation late and missed deleted posts. I have just as much right to my opinions as anyone else on this board. People are directing their anger and frustration on this woman when she isn't the root cause of the suffering of many thousands of people. She has been made the scapegoat. While what she did was a million different negative adjectives, it has absolutely been blown out of proportion.

To wrap this whole thing up for once and for all because it's OLD NEWS:

There is nothing wrong with my opinions on this matter:

1) There is way more to this story than what is being reported
2) Her action of getting MREs, while disgusting, is not illegal
3) I believe this mess was started by some disgruntled student because it got way too personal and hateful way too fast
4) She did not deserve to be ridiculed for her weight, relationship status, etc. because it has nothing to do with the issue at hand
5) She did not deserve death threats
6) It was wrong to post her home address on the web...I mean seriously, what kind of sick stalker are you if you are going to go and take the time to look her up? Get a life! You don't look up her address unless you are planning to do something with it!

After I expressed this, I was accused by 3 different people that because of the way I believe I must be stockpiling MREs myself. That is an accusation I will not take lightly. I will not tolerate slander in any way. Then, one "Christian" went further to tell me that I will burn in hell right after I was slandered and accused yet again of stockpiling MREs.

So, if this post sounds a little harsh to you it is. You will have to just pardon me. I have grown very tired of this topic because I have seen just how "Christian" some Christians are and how willing human beings are to fall into the "pack mentality" and destroy someone's life. What cracks me up is that it's all in the name of being a "good Christian." What a joke!
