Here are some other things to think about:

2) Without even going into the individual claims, it seems the author may have counted some things multiple times. For example, if #8 includes the money in #1-#3, it should not be added again. Also, money sent "home" does not exactly cost us anything. #12 is not happening, and if it did, then the other costs would go away, so no need to count both. #9- suppresssed wages also means decreased costs to the consumer homeowner/ person using the service, so while maybe not a good thing it is somewhat of a zero-sum game over a large population.

Oh, and #5, those children are also known as "American citizens."

3) Some of the links in your spam email don't work anymore. Many of the provided links are transcripts of Lou Dobbs and some of his guests opinions, this is hardly information that stands verifiable and justified. These are opinion pieces. Lastly, the next to last link in your spam email is from rense.com. Everyone should visit this whackjob site. It's a hoot.

4) The Iraq war is estimated to cost the United States and it's taxpayers over $3 trillion. Show me numbers like that and we can talk about equivalence.

BTW:

At no time have I said that we should tolerate illegal immigration. I said that in times of crisis, like damaging hurricanes, everyone, including illegal immigrants that require aide, should get it. I do think that our country should have strict immigration laws and that people should follow the legal process to enter this country. But law should never supercede the respect for human life and caring for the over-burdened.

Way to go Oklahoma lets just hope they enforce the law and Texas goes the same route. Mayor Bill White should be jailed for harboring illegals. And for that same old BS about not faulting someone for coming here and trying to better themselves. If I came to your house and stole your car would you be upset? I am just trying to better myself, my car is old and dirty. Ask Martha White about trying to better yourself. As for those anchor babies, yes they are American Citizens, but that law should be changed and any born in the future should not be. I personally know a naturalized citizen whoes sister who is not a US citizen flies here to this country to have here babies. 4 of them now. they live in Honduras and will more than likely always live there as dual citizens, but they will get all the benifits of being a Natural Born Citizen. They could live there until they are 30 and move here and run for president at 44. That is BS.
