I don't see why we can't help both at the same time.

I'm not saying that we should allow illegal immigrants to stay and set up shop. If they are injured or need aide during a natural disaster, it should be given to them. Once they are well enough to travel, we send them back to their native country.

We don't have to make lines in a free nation.

Applying negative connotation onto the word criminal is a mistake that many make. Illegally crossing a border in an attempt to better yourself and your family, YES, is a crime, but is it so wrong that we should look down on those who do it, and think of them as lower?

I am applying a negative connotation to the word criminal??? The word criminal doesn't already carry a negative connotation?

This isn't about us thinking of illegals as "lower". I'm not debating the character of the illegal aliens. This is about taking care of your own first, then helping the illegals who are breaking the law by being here second. Hopefully just before they get on the bus to go to their legal home on the other side of the border.

This all reminds me of the burgler that broke into a woman's home, accidentally cut himself badly with one of her kitchen knives, and then sued the woman because he injured himself on her property.

No, the word criminal doesn't carry a negative connotation. Have you ever disobeyed the speed limit? Have you ever illegally parked? Whether you got caught or not, you were a criminal in those cases. Criminal is only a term used to identify a person who has broken the law. It holds no connotation.

Why does it have to be JUST BEFORE they get on the bus to go to their legal homes? By making statements like that, you are assigning a lower status to illegal immigrants. We can and should help both. There doesn't have to be a "these first, these second," qualification. We should help as help is needed.

George if you feel that strongly about the illegals getting the aid they need, how about you foot the bill? A majority of the Americans are sick and tired of taking away from our citizens in order to cater to the illegals!

Being politically correct is responsible for the debt of the nation? That's a stretch. But tell me though, how are being politically correct and being humanitarian equivalent?

Also, I pay my taxes like everyone else, and I don't mind providing aide during crisis situations to anyone, no matter why or how they got here. I do think that other people are human besides US citizens. Besides you have much bigger things to worry about concerning where your tax dollars are going. It's just easy to pick on the Mexicans.

Being PC has a lot to do with the debt, due to the fact that most Americans are too afraid to stand up for what they believe in, one thing is a free ride to Illegals who have drained our economy, and if we don't keep our mouths shut, and stand up for what we believe, we are considered RACISTS!
