Ok, I know the election is over, but come on... I couldn't resist posting this. There is no way this woman is running in 2012.
From cnn.com:
Is Africa a continent? Palin's true ignorance now revealed
John McCain's aides have revealed their vice-presidential candidate did not know Africa was a continent and in fact thought it was a country.
She also had no idea which countries made up the North American Free Trade Agreement [NAFTA], or that the United States - along with Canada and Mexico - was one of them.

Oh look! There's a bus! And what's that under it? Is that... Is that Sarah Palin under there?
There are a LOT of negative stories coming out now about Palin, and by the McCain camp aided by fox news no less. It sounds like they are throwing her under a bus in order to... I don't know why. The same people that spent 2 months trying to convince us that she as VP was more qualified than Obama are now saying the complete opposite. I have to ask, does anyone that voted for McCain feel like they made the wrong decision now, after McCain's camp is relating to us how much she DIDN'T know? What about those that are independents and voted for Obama, do you feel better about your decision? Because either one of two things are happening here - either Palin really is as ignorant as they are making her out to be post-election, or the McCain camp has zero integrity are all about saving their own skins by sacrificing Palin. If it's the former, then she has no business being a VP. In both cases, they are only highlighting the fact that THEY made a bad decision in picking her as VP, and it reflects even worse on them.
Well not many people know that either. I believe she will be back, maybe in a senate seat real soon. If anyone on here was much smarter they wouldn't be on here as a critic. She got picked as a vice president candidate weeks before an election. Even you might study a little before you face the whole world. She did well for the time frame and now is more powerful for doing so. Too bad this election was won by race issues.
Look at our current leader hiding behind the curtins of the white house awaiting the new family to occupy. What a freaking mess he has left for anyone to clean up... I hope he goes to crawford and stays out of the way. We now have another worst president ever. He didn't even get to have relations with a woman. What a clux.
Well not many people know that either.
Really? I cant point you to a single person that I know, that does not know that Africa is a continent, rather than a country. You might want to find smarter acquaintances.
Maybe you were listening when the teach mentioned it, but I say a poll on Yahoo that had 67 percent that didn't know either. So hang with who? I hate know it alls anyway, there boring. You use to rock, but seem to want to argue. IMO is what I put in these post just like anyone else. And people who put other people down have a security problem. Can I help you in anyway?

I'm far from a know it all. I learned about Africa being a continent in elementary school, and I recon it just stuck. It's a sad state of affairs if 67% of people polled thought it was a country, but even more so when a vice presidential candidate thinks so. To allow someone who has "foreign policy experience" because she lives in Alaska, somewhat near Russia and Canada, and who does not realize that Africa is a continent, to actually be on the ballot as a VP nominee is quite pathetic. I dont know about you, but I certainly expect more from someone who has the opportunity to be in such a position.
I'm not anymore "wanting to argue" than you are by responding to my post. I simply posted my opinion. if it is not a popular opinion, so be it, i really couldnt possibly care less.
I also dont believe that post was putting anyone down. I certainly dont have a "security" problem. I'm very secure in the person I am, and anyone who actually knows me can certainly state the same. For the record, no you can not help me in any way that I know of. If you can bring my golf handicap down to a respectable level, sure, otherwise, I'm fine.
Thanks for the offer though.
