I listened to his acceptance speech last night and I'm still not sure what I think of him. He seems like a likeable fellow, but I can't bring myself to support the party of homosexuals and Hollywood.
I had to turn it off of him. I kept thowing up in my mouth. I don't agree with socialism.
He delivered a great speech. He'll be the next president, for sure. McCain sealed the deal today.

I don't know, Bob. I thought the same as you when I first heard the news. But I also didn't know anything about Palin at the time. Now that I've done some reading up on her and have listened to the radio a bit, I think McCain may give Obama a run for his money. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama ends up winning. But I don't think McCain's VP choice will be his undoing.

With her on the ticket, the republicans have to take "lack of experience" off the table as an attack against Obama. She has very little experience, and with McCain's age and past bouts with cancer...

She also claimed a couple of months ago to need someone to explain to her what the VP does every day when asked whether or not she would accept an offer as running mate to McCain.

I've been reading about her, too, and I think Christmas came early for the democrats with McCain's selection.
It's going to interesting, that's for sure. And either way it goes, we'll be making history. We'll either have America's first black president or first female vice president. The next four years should be fun.
