Case Summary: SYNOPSIS...ON SATURDAY, 08/16/08 AT 1947 HOURS BAYTOWN POLICE AND EMS RESPONDED TO A MAJOR ACCIDENT IN THE 4500 BLOCK OF BUSH RD INVOLVING A ROLLOVER VEHICLE. DURING THE INVESTIGATION IT WAS FOUND WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELLING SOUTHBOUND THE DRIVER JUMPED FROM THE MOVING VEHICLE DURING A DISTURBANCE CAUSING THE ACCIDENT. THE DRIVER WAS LIFE-FLIGHTED TO HERMANN HOSPITAL WITH A HEAD INJURY. THE TWO PASSENGERS WHICH INCLUDED A 11 MONTH OLD BABY WERE NOT INJURED DURING THE CRASH. THE ACCIDENT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION...END OF SYNOPSIS. - END OF OFFENSE


I was at this accident and I was just wondering if anyone may know how she is doing. The scene of this accident is still sketched in my mind to this day.

I'm confused. She jumped from the moving vehicle, leaving an 11 month old in the vehicle for the ride? Or did I read that incorrectly?

Sounds like she left the baby in the car with another person. But of course, when you're driving that's not a good thing to do.
I do hope she's going to be OK.

Well when the crash first happened we all thought the lady who was life flighted was the passenger, but after reading this I guess she was the driver. Just hoping she is ok.

Unless the other passenger was attempting to kill her, there is no excuse for her jumping from the moving vehicle leaving an 11 month old baby to fend for itself in the car seat. I have no sympathy for her. IF, and that is a BIIIIIIIIIIIG IF, the other passenger was indeed attempting to kill the driver, then I do wish her a speedy recovery.

The one lady just kept screaming "she tried to jump out". And she said she tried to stop her that is all she kept telling us while we were out there.
