Ingredients

1lb hamburger
About a cup dry large elbow noodles
1 small or ½ large onion, diced
1 can tomato sauce
Salt, pepper and chili powder to taste


Brown hamburger meat. Add onion, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and chili powder. It's hard to say exactly how much chili powder as it depends on your taste. I tend to use a lot. Simmer for about a half hour. When it's almost done, boil noodles according to their instructions. Add noodles.


Meal Tips

Mashed potatos and corn go fantastic with goulosh. For incredible mashed potatos, leave the skins on and use 1 stick of margarine, 1 Tbsp cream cheese, and 1 can Carnation evaporated milk. Salt and pepper to taste.
