Anyone know any good camp grounds around here. We want to go camping, but don't want to travel too far. And for all you pro campers out there if you have any tips, tricks or hints to make our lil' vacation go smoothly please do tell! We are a family of 3, two adults and one toddler (15 months). Any advice or suggestions you guys have is sure to help out tremendously, thank you!
oh also if possible we would like a cabin, but we can do just fine sleeping in a tent. i've looked at jellystone park in waller tx, but it looks like it would be very very busy.
You might get some ideas on this other thread...

I have some friends that went to Jellystone last year and they loved it. Their youngest son was two at the time. I haven't heard anything negative about it, which I would consider a good thing since people seem to complain more than compliment.
gwen, Annie just just posted a reply on that other thread and she mentioned a place with nice cabins. Here is her post: Let's go camping - Post #12405
These are a couple of our favorites. We're grandparents, so we don't have experience camping with little ones. Sorry we can't help you there.
