Ed,

Get over it already. No one cares what you think about me. It's been explained repeatedly by myself and others why many choose not to engage you in debate. No one gives a dang what you "expect" when you don't follow your own list of demands. Everyone who reads what you write consistently knows exactly what you do (and don't do). The faciliatator of this board has advised you directly that your behavior is offensive to him and others. When it comes to me, you are acting like an obsessive psycho. If I were you I would stop directly calling me a liar and/or implying that I because I AM one of those people who will do something about it. I will not take crap off anyone. I'm married to a lawyer sweetheart. Not only is he still in practice but he teaches constitutional law at a local college. So, if you are feeling froggy Ed...JUMP. My legal fees are covered...would yours be? This is your last directive from me to stop referring to me directly or through implication in this matter.

I'll tell you again...it would do you more good to think about why my comments regarding your education rocked your world to the extent it did rather than to spend your time, in your own words, "to bring me down." That's just sad. If you feel that insecure you can always do something for self-improvement be it to go back to school to get a degree or read a variety of publications to get a good perspective of any issue we all may be discussing. You have quite a large chip on your shoulder Ed. Brush it off. I did not create your life situation nor did I cause it. Any insecurities you may have are fixable. You just have to be willing to address them.
Ed, people present facts to you all the time. After which you ask for the facts. They show more evidence and proof and what do you do? You demand the facts. They bring all the facts, evidence, and proof they can find, and then you claim they are just lying and giving their opinions without backing their views up with facts. You either have an extremely distorted view of what goes on in these posts, or you are lying again.

You wouldn't recognize a fact if it dropped out of the sky and clubbed you on the head.

---------------------------------------------------

By the way Ed, I'm sure I'm not the only one around here that notices how you use any thread you like to badmouth others and to suit your agenda. You went to Malcolm's "goodbye" thread and badmouthed the Atheists. Now you're using this thread to badmouth Common. If you're going to accuse Common of something (yet again), you should be a man and do it directly to her instead of talking behind their back to txna. You're not that clever, Ed; we all know what you're doing.
Ed complains that all threads become 'about him'. But, didn't he pretty much make this thread "all about him" all by himself? I'll support that opinion with the fact that edtwo's name wasn't even mentioned until his first post here, where he made the thread... all about him.
Ed, this is the same tired story you were selling on the BSF, and I'm still not buying it. Man up and do some honest introspection.
I usually try and stay out of the arguments, but there's just one thing I want to say. I can give my opinion on any thread or post on this board, and quite frankly, I don't have "prove" any of them with any facts at all. There's no rule about giving your opinion, and when was it decided that just because my opinion may not be the same as yours, it's automatically deemed a lie? If I decide to form an opinion about a topic simply based on something I heard, then that's my perogative. If I choose to form my opinion by researching and getting hard solid proof, then that's my perogative. Everybody has their own opinion and everybody has the right to debate their opinion. But to accuse everyone of being a liar just because they disagree with your's doesn't seem right to me. And THAT is just my opinion. =)
"I don't have "prove" any of them with any facts at all. There's no rule about giving your opinion, and when was it decided that just because my opinion may not be the same as yours, it's automatically deemed a lie? '

We’re all entitled to have our own opinions, but, we’re not entitled to have our own set of facts.
To make the claim I took a quote out of context isn’t a matter of opinion, it’s factually wrong. It’s a fact that was made up.
Claiming that Thomas Jefferson believed the Gospels were “defective and doubtful” is also factually wrong.
If we’re gong to debate an issue, let’s not make up our own set of facts. To do so is morally wrong.
