Let me use another example. Its justified to call John Edwards a liar. He has demostrated that he's a liar. There are times where name callng is justified.
Now, the question is, is it ever justifed to call a person a name here on your forum?
You have claimed its not, so I will abide by that, even though I respectiviely dissagree with that opinioin.

You need to study the law more closely, Ed. If you call someone a liar on a public forum and you do not have hard evidence to back you up, it can be considered libel and you have now opened yourself up to a lawsuit. Sure, most people won't take it that far. But the fact remains that some people take their reputation very seriously and they now have the legal right to sue you if they wish. Some people take slander and libel very seriously. You may think you are right, and you may feel you have the right to call them whatever you want. Just remember that they also have the right to retaliate with legal action.
Besides, why not simply show your evidence that proves someone is a liar and let the evidence speak for itself?
