Baytown.org is posting important weather/emergency management messages on their home page. This is what is there right now:
12:00 p.m. 4 Aug 08 - The City has activated the information phone bank at the Emergency Operations Center. Residents can call 281-420-5311 for storm related information.
10:00 a.m 4 Aug 08 - In anticipation of Tropical Storm Edouard there will be no scheduled bus service on 5 August 2008. Bus service will resume normal schedule on 6 August 2008 unless the situation warrants otherwise.
9:00 a.m. 4 Aug 08 - Current track projections indicate that Tropical Storm Edouard will make landfall in the vicinity of Galveston Island in the early morning hours of 5 August 2008. It is possible that Edouard could reach hurricane force winds prior to landfall.
