We have some hispanic neighbors breaking every law or decency that live in our area that have not put one nail, paint brush or any type of care to their home ever. We don't have a neighborhood committee and need to let the city know that this house is a hazard. One side of the house's bricks are falling off or getting ready to fall. A real eye sore for all the hood and bringing our housing prices down.

I want to directly turn them in. They do not qualify for the 5 year loan, because they have more income and multiple tenants using the house until they obtain their green card and get established in the Baytown area.

My goal today for all 20 members or so is WHO DO I CALL to get this house repaired or tore down due to environmental and safety issues beyond a Baytownians dreams.

Know a number to the City, I looked at the site and navigation of this subject sux.
Should I ask a 5th grader?
I'd try the Neighborhood Protection Division at the city....
You can begin with Planning and Development 281-420-5826.
Thank BYS, the city is going to come and look at this mess. If not up to code electrical and structural it will be in big trouble. They make over the income to qualify for the 5 year city loans. Maybe they'll get busy or get out, but there is no reason to let a house and yard to go down so bad it reflects the rest of us.

Hopefully they'll head the advice of the city and fix the place up. It would be horrible to see an entire family+ get evicted from their home!
