Gray, since you are IT related, can you see us with web cams honestly? You and I know it can be done. ????????

I'm not sure I understand. Are you asking me if I am currently watching you in your home by way of a web cam? If that's what you're asking, then no, I am not watching you in your home.

By the way, you left your living room light on when you went to bed. Thought I'd let you know......

Look around your board, Dorian. It's pretty much dead. Even though there was some arguing in the religious forum, at least there was some life there. The rest of the board barely gets a few replies a day, in mind numbing threads like "Whats for lunch?".

You have to understand that this site has been up and running for only 7 months now. I think I've accomplished quite a bit in that short amount of time. Rome wasn't built in a day, you know?

When you refer to threads as "mind numbing", you insult the good people who start those threads. It's true that there isn't always much action on the board since it is still in it's early growth. It is partially for this reason that members start threads like "what's for lunch?". They do it to get to know the other members, to get a little break from the hum drum of the work day, and to show support for the site by adding new posts. I would like to say that all posts, no matter how "mind numbing" are all very much appreciated.

I will never give up on this site. I've devoted my time and attention to it during the busy times as well as during the "dead" times. Even when things are slow, there is a handful of members who still enjoy stopping by. Some of those members are gone now due to the recent drama, and I deeply regret that this happened.

I would also like to add that I hold no ill feelings toward G or any other member. In fact, G and I have had some interesting conversations. I was being honest when I said that banning him was a "tough decision". As site administrator, I have to do my best to be unbiased and do what I think is best for the site. That is what I have been trying to do. My first inclination, which was to take no action yet, caused some long time members to leave. Then my first decision to take action got me called a hypocrite and a coward. I can only hope that my final decision, to clarify the rules and start fresh with a gamplan will be seen as just and will satisfy the majority of members. It seems that no matter how I handle this situation there are going to be some people who get upset and some that even decide to leave this site. I wish this were not the case, and if I had a magic solution that would please everyone, I would not hesitate to use it.

I hope everyone will continue to post, spread the word, and help us to build the best community site that we can. I will do my best to keep things fair and enjoyable.

Thank you for your time,
Dorian Gray

Well thanks about the lights I got up and turned them off at 4:30.

You know the BSF had it's religion section and the best thing was to stay away and let the no win posters duke it out until one just gave up or saw the light of choosing your battles. I guess as a trying to be a Christian as all Christians the best thing is hang with other Christians and heterosexuals. Or let the lost have the stage while they search for truth. When it all comes down to it on the death bed, they will all cry out to God.
A house divided cannot stand. I believe the devil is constantly trying to make the Christians look bad and cause division among them. If he can divide them, he can defeat them.
Dorian,

Your final decision has been the fairest and most just to all parties involved. For one, I apologize for antagonizing various members of the board. My intent is to have rational discourse about religion and Christianity especially. As an example, I would post somewhat negative responses to BYS's psalm posts in the mornings. This wasn't really right on my part. I understand that BYS was posting those posts as an encouragement to other Christians and she wasn't looking for an argument. For antagonizing in this way, I apologize. I do hope that we can continue to have discourse on religion, but I would ask that the assertive name-calling or labeling be put to a stop. I'm not gay, but I support homosexual rights. I'm not the devil, poisonous, or evil. I'm an Atheist. This means that I have no positive claim to a god or gods. That is all. If you want to argue your faith, argue it.. but a valid argument is not to slander or label a person, attacking their character. Aside from this, I think we can have productive discourse and I thank Dorian for his clarity and good will in his decision making. We do need to build this site up. We need to create a place where we can come and discuss issues and ideas unashamedly.
