Ok, maybe I've been living under a rock, but I hadn't heard about this. In a few days we'll have a new zip code.
From the Sun:
The western portion of the new zip code will be along (but excluding) Lee Drive to Business 146, northwest along Business 146 to Spur 55 (99), west along 55 to Cedar Bayou, north along the bayou to SH 146, north to Interstate 10, west along I-10 to the Union Pacific railroad junction, then northeast along the railroad to the Chambers-Liberty County line.
It will head southwest along Trinity Bay to Tabbs Bay, then west to Lee Drive (Causeway). It will go south along Old River to FM 1409, then south along (but excluding) 1409 to FM 565, north along (but excluding) 1409 to Old River, south along Old River to Long Island Bayou, then south along that bayou to Trinity Bay.
In the north, it will begin at the junction of UP at the Chambers-Liberty County line to the existing Cherry Point subdivision boundary, then east and north along the Cherry Point boundary the county line. Then it will proceed east along the county line to the Old River.
