Ya' know, I don't know what the Baytown Sun's problem is, but I am fed up with them. They will eventually open the Baytown Talk forum again when they hear the outcry from its users and realize they took something away that was actually beneficial to our community. I think we should all bring our "talk" here, even after they open it up again, and they can do whatever.
I never posted on the Baytown Talk, but lurked a lot, and can say that the Baytown Sun isn't ran professionally IMO. As it seemed, there was no
FREEDOM of SPEECH on that forum!!! The rules that were set, were not all followed by the B.S. It seems they would pick and choose whoever's post they wanted to erase, regardless if they were breaking the rules or not, then, you would see them leave postings that were breaking the rules, seems there may have been some favoritism going on there. I enjoyed reading many posters posts, such as CK, TG, Bert, JMS, Free, Hippie, Feisty, KB, Donna etc. Please forgive me if i left any of you out! Hopefully i can find where they all have gone, because I enjoyed reading all the interesting and also funny posts they posted!

I knew there was a reason I stopped subscribing to the Baytown Sun.
As soon as the older non-Internet connected baby boomer's die off, the Baytown Sun wont be needed anymore and will die out due to lack of circulation...
All they do is report one-sided opinionated news anyway and never tell the whole story to any subject. They just report the consensus of their employees opinions not factual news same as MSM in this country.[/u]

Why not make this your new forum home, PeaceQuiet? We could use the members and this site is not affiliated with the Baytown Sun whatsoever. Tell all your friends to come here and you'll all be back in business! =)
